"There's this old village way out in a clearing in the forests south from Ushuhmou, Littlewood. Folks might tell you it's nearer Piccoe, by that river that runs into Quayoff, but they ain't never actually seen it. I've been there, myself."
"It's mid-7th Turn style buildings, but the furniture and stuff there is more late 7th Turn early 8th turn. Most of it's decayed and broken right now, ain't worth hauling out for even the most desperate looters."
"Oh, did I not mention? The place is abandoned. Sorry, thought you'd figure as much since you asked for a tip.
Not much there other than crumbling shacks and overgrown cobblestone. "
"There's only been a few looters who have bothered going there, probably rookies because they spread the word that there's nothing worth taking.
I went there out of curiosity. Everything is still in place, everyone moved out in a hurry."
"I heard a story from one of the old timers that back in the early 8th Turn, he used to visit while it was still inhabited. Sometime in 8T02 or so, and every time he visited there'd be less and less people."
"The city's wasn't known by Ushuhmou at the time, and I guess there's even less reason to have it on record nowadays.
The old timer that told me this story said he used to know a couple from there through a family friend."
"He said used to love visiting them and picking up an antique for his daughter.
The last day he visited Littlewood was the last day that couple lived there, He caught them just as they were clearing out without so much as a water jug for the road."
"He asked where they were off to. The husband, can't remember the name, apparently usually a real chatty guy was pointed in his response.
'Piccoe.' He said. 'Would love to stay, but the Hobs won't leave.' "
"The man didn't even respond when asked to clarify, just waving goodbye as he walked off, though the Old Timer noted that he didn't think the man was looking at him when doing so."
"Old Timer was just glad they didn't have a kid they were putting in danger by traveling so light.
Come to think of it, according to him,
I don't think any of them did."
"I've been there since he told me. I'd take a gas mask to be safe."
It just seems like a bunch of quiet houses filled with old stuff.
You can go see the place for yourself. It's an interesting little snapshot of homelife years ago if that's the sort of thing you're into."
