Adults At Play
Here we have a small community in the forest, plenty of space between thr cabins a few miles from town.
They get around on these neatly paved roads by way of tricycle, much too small for an adult. Travelers can pick up a rental at the rest stop on the hill. It started as a joke by the founders of the village to see what they could turn into obsessive tradition.
It didn't work out that way, now it's just a village attraction and quirk. They hold races occasionally, so everyone can see the goofy spectacle of grown adults struggling to peddle a children's toy through forest roads. It's certainly kept the small town alive and more than just a footnote rest stop before reaching town.
