MYSTERY CAVERNS
In the south western end of Arcea, along the older the smoother hills of the south Rocky Hills, there exists a particular mountain, lovingly dubbed "Haulsa", a derivative of 'Hojch', the ancient Arcean word for hole. This mountain sports a massive network of intertwining caves. Some of these caves are natural due to years of erosion from the high southern winds that blow fine particles from south hills. However, a large number of caves are clearly carved passages that offshoot from the natural caves. It's believed these caves served as the basis for one of the earliest Arcean tribes in ancient history, possibly even dating back to the first Quayoffi nomads migrating north for the temperate weather.
A ways away, across the Unknown Ridge, a small revived 5th Turn village called Pauwe Kollovani sits nestled in the Goani op Tidde' Valley. An independent historical research board in Pauwe Kollovani preserves the Mystery Caverns and offers tours.
The theories to the origin and the age of the caves have yet to be credibly substantiated by other accredited historial research institutions, both domestic and foreign.
