Dragon's Peak
Despite the danger of bandits looming in the abandoned caves, there are Pokemon that live peacefully in the Arcean Northeast. One such group resides in a small temple at the summit of Dragon Mountain, aka Dragon's Peak. They've gone by several names, though these days they're known as the Non-Desire Acolytes (Or, The Acolyes of the Golden Thousand-Armed One In Pursuit of Non-Desire).
From the peaks of Dragon Mountain, miles-long strings decorated with multi-color flags flutter in the ocean wind. The tattered sheets are written in an unknown language, which the Acolytes refer to as 'Amda', and depict images of their faith. The legend goes that Jianguo, famed protector of Conduit Quarnia during the 2nd War, strung the flags up across the tallest peaks in Arcea, in hopes the wind would carry their tidings of good will and peace across the war-stricken land. The Sneasel Warrior carried in him a faith unknown to any in Arcea, and he supposedly taught it to soldiers in despair to give them hope. When the war concluded, those soldiers founded the temple at the top of Dragon Mountain, where they continue Jianguo's teachings to this day.
During the religious consolidation and the 'Silent Civil War' of the 2nd turn, the Conduicy sought to homogenize the belief system of the Arcean territories to only Conduicy Orthodox, with all local religions and other Archian Denominations barred from practice. The sole exception to this was The Non-Desire Acolytes, due to a combination of their remoteness, fortified temple position and pushback from Arcean service members, due to the religion's origins as a soldier's faith.Â
