Nothing is known about the deep dimension.
Even among the native psychics of Dovve Do Uddjo, this place is a complete mystery.
As Dovve Fo Uddjo opened itself up more and more to commercial travel and tourism it became inevitable that many psychics would begin to feel that the purpose of the city, to be a place of honing psychic power, was lost.
Thus, they vanished. Into a void that every psychic knows exists but one which takes incredible power and knowledge to access.
This is, perhaps, the point. Poke'mon in the upper tiers of Dovve Fo Uddjo administration know of the Deep Dimension and the nature of the Poke'mon in there, their power and reclusiveness. But typically, specialized teams of psychics are required to create and maintain a portal into this bizarre pocket of space.
It is known, however, that individuals can and have accessed the deep dimension on their own. As the Deep Dimension is oftentimes referred to as 'the ultimate university for psychic poke'mon', being able to open a gate into this land likely serves as being a first test...an entrance exam into the university.
The only Poke'mon powerful enough to track down Xamao's location exists in the deep dimension. When Team Azure and Team Aquashock venture down there...well...you'll have to see for yourself.
