Around the same time that Dylan and I were RPing Story of Arceus another friend of mine, who you might know as Pan The Bird (PMD: Endless Blue), was rooming with us during college. He became curious about SOA and wanted to try doing it, too.

I thought it harmless, so I accepted. However, Pan brought a completely different vibe to SOA and I had a lot to learn about DMing.

Iteration 2 is characterized by being a more high-octane and shonen-like version of SOA. Pan preferred playing a more shonen type protagonist, one that was unafraid and outspoken. One that didn't mind using their fists to burst through conflicts and assert how he felt the world should work. It was a different kind of protagonist to Jensen and Avery.

However, this iteration was important in that it help me spice up the dungeons and events. Injecting more hype into the events could give it all more excitement and gravitas.
