For a girl of many hardships, what's one more?Â
Adelaide takes her first tentative steps in a body unfamiliar to her. She wishes for only one thing: To return home to Piera.
But she has yet to learn how far from home she really is.
Adelaide wakes up from her fainting spell, just in time to spend her first night out in the city of Arceliaze.
But not from the position of nobility.
Adelaide wakes up to find Siranae has already left for work. Left to her own devices for the day, the young nobildonna commits herself to a single task: Making dear Siranae's dream come true.
But the road to the Arceali guild will be hard, every inch will have to be fought for...
And it all begins with breakfast with the parents holding Siranae back.
Out by herself onto the streets of Arceliaze, Adelaide has to somehow piece together a plan to get Siranae into the guild. The young nobildonna will have to scrap together every document and piece of information she can gather, all without so much as a penny to her name.
This entire affair will prove to be just as difficult as she predicted it'd be.
Adelaide has been busy this morning. Running around Arceliaze, suffering the presence of these demonic, noisy, dirty beasts. But the worst is yet to come.
Slowly coming to wits end, irritability rising, Adelaide moves quickly to get a loan. In and out, it surely should be just another step in this grueling process to get past...
...right?
Adelaide returns to Siranae's home in S'Ran but finds not all is well. A quick escape is in order, for both Adelaide and her friend, if only for a night.
But the night holds many horrors in the dark.
Faith is difficult to hold onto when it's so often challenged. Adelaide's realigns her faith both for herself and Siranae, and at last finds the way forward to execute her plan.
The effects of last night's grisly events become apparent. But for now, Adelaide must focus on her goals, which now requires her to get a job. But the hiring process is not as simple as walking in and asking.
No, the world of nobles, even service to nobles, has many barriers one must struggle to tear down.
Adelaide finishes her day of work and is awarded her pittance, but her work for the day is not complete. It's not even completed for tomorrow.
Piercing social barriers is a most arduous labor.
At last, Adelaide and Siranae are freed of Mama but come face-to-face with a member of the guild once again.
As the night finally draws to a close, morning draws near...and the promise of a new adventure.
The morning has come and Adelaide relays her plan to the Audino. A morning of preparation lies ahead of them, a trip to the city of the lake, Laesi...
And the beginnings of the pair's team.
Adelaide and Siranae arrive in the city of nobles at last and find it to be everything they thought: a cultural center for the elites of the country, yet flimsy and new.
The question becomes: Will they be able to figure out where to go in order to begin the mysterious mission they've stolen from the guild?
Adelaide and Siranae have arrived at last to the place of their first mission, now face to face with the mysterious Zerazani who proves to be a most eccentric woman.
Adelaide and Siranae are trapped in a madwoman's world, forced into her bizarre performance.

The final act begins now!
Simply because someone says they are now a friend does not immediately mean they're a close one. Zerazani shows what she can bring to Coronatus and a plan for the next week is made.
Six days. Adelaide has a mere six days to prepares for the Art Showcase which will hopefully be the first major step towards securing herself a place in the guild. But with so much work to do, the week is sure to prove exceedingly hectic.
Adelaide and Siranae have begun the work for the final days until the Arcean Arts Showcase & Banquet. But they must remember that everything in Arceliaze is hard fought.
Adelaide and Siranae meet up with Zerazani for dinner. Adelaide quickly becomes torn about her next course of action.
It's the final day before the Art Showcase. As the last few jobs are completed Adelaide is overcome with a sensation previously alien to her.
The Arcean Arts Showcase & Banquet at the Nors Aloch Hotel is here at last. Adelaide and Siranae meet with Zerazani to begin a party that shall determine the future of their fledgling business.
With Wera's attention gained, Adelaide has a private meeting with the Zu'Conveytion. Zerazani reveals her surprise at last. And Adelaide will see the dizzying view from the Summit of the Mountain where Conveytion make their home.
The showcase is over, and it's time for Adelaide and Siranae to go home at last.
Of course...it's not quite the fairy tale ending to a perfect night.
Adelaide rushes to work to do everything she can to right the wrong she wrought during the showcase. However, a simple task may turn into a desperate and dangerous over-correction.
Siranae returns home and sees what Adelaide has done. At last, the both of them set upon the road to the Arcean north.
Team Coronatus arrives at the frozen Arcean north and find themselves in the home of Conveytion Dulkinus. It's at last they learn of the nature of the issue...and the sheer scope of it as well.
